Tools

Elix-IRR’s advice is based on proprietary tools and methods. In complex environments we are still able to detail the entire delivery fabric: the big picture, the gaps, the friction points, and the opportunities.

To overcome the challenges that clients face with any sourcing or change agenda, we bring transparency, focus and value delivery. These are universal needs, so Elix-IRR and Pillsbury have developed software and methods to provide these attributes.

Harmony for Sourcing

On sourcing journeys, there are three primary challenges are:

Harmony for Sourcing was designed by sourcing professionals to empower programme managers to start their journey with confidence, by tackling these challenges.

Harmony for Sourcing is a software tool that collects data at the most granular level – by office, location, geography or business unit. Harmony for Sourcing’s library of sourcing modules (e.g., Applications, Infrastructure, Indirect Procurement, Finance & Accounting etc.), map out the scope at the process level.

Any employee is able to upload source data for their process – this includes As-Is providers, FTE numbers, costs, assets, documentation and process descriptions. Harmony for Sourcing then rolls this data into a dashboard, providing a transparent overview of even the most complex organisation.

Elix-IRR, and our clients, then use Harmony for Sourcing to manage the end-to-end sourcing programme. It is more than a management tool – it is a way of life.

Stephen Newton talks to Mike Henry about Harmony:

Visual Sourcing*

Every process, every location, every device, every application, every actor: Visual Sourcing allows you can see it all.

Visual Sourcing provides a full-domain view of all processes, including retained and outsourced scope across multiple organisations. Designed for multi-sourcing environments by highlighting critical interactions and cross dependencies it accelerates project time-lines, eliminates re-work and eases hand-offs.

This straight-through processing technique:

The patented approach lets our clients focus on what matters within their organisation: the strengths and weaknesses of their operation; the actions required to implement change; and the process for achieving change quickly.

CostMarking*

CostMarking is a unique tool we use to decompose sourcing contracts and provide a breakdown of a supplier’s price.

When transparency is obtained, industry productivity measures are applied, and the supplier is often faced with a troubling question: “Is your productivity below market or your profit margin above market?”. This leads to substantial cost savings on renegotiation or re-issuance of tender.

Together with Harmony and Visual Sourcing, Elix-IRR’s approach ensures that the advice and services are bespoke and differentiated. As you navigate the challenges of any sourcing or change agenda, transparency, focus and value delivery are key – something that Elix-IRR provides day-in day-out.
